Universal Music Japan is opening a UMG retail store in Tokyo dedicated entirely to the needs of music superfans.

Opening in Tokyo’s world-famous Harajuku district

Universal Music Japan has announced the opening of a UMG retail store in Tokyo dedicated entirely to supporting music superfans. On Friday, Oct. 20, the four-story superstore opened to the public in downtown Harajuku, Tokyo - a location famous worldwide for its fashion, culture and fan base.

“We are excited to welcome the new Universal Music Harajuku concept store to Tokyo’s world-famous Harajuku district, a gathering point for people, styles, and culture from all over the world,” said Naoshi Fujikura, President and CEO of Universal Music Japan.
