US actors' strike: important issues still unresolved

Despite productive and constructive talks in recent weeks, the opinions of the striking Hollywood actors and the film studios are still far apart on important issues. Because of this, according to the union, further talks and meetings will be held in the near future to reach agreements.

The two sides had suspended talks at the beginning of the month, disagreeing over streaming revenue and the use of artificial intelligence.

The union made a comprehensive counteroffer to AMPTP, the group that represents Walt Disney, Netflix and other major media companies, last week.
