WildBrain opens first dedicated Teletubbies retail destination in China
WildBrain has launched WildBrain Garden, the first permanent retail destination dedicated to Teletubbies and In the Night Garden in China. Located at the Magic World Family Entertainment Center in Zhongshan, the 930 sq. ft. themed retail space offers a curated selection of merchandise, including collectibles, accessories, gifting products and plush.
Growing popularity
The opening reflects growing popularity for both preschool brands in China and marks the first of two WildBrain Garden retail concepts planned in partnership with Max-Matching, with a second location scheduled to open in Beijing in 2027. The expansion comes ahead of the 30th anniversary of Teletubbies and the 20th anniversary of In the Night Garden in 2027.
Location-based entertainment strategy
According to WildBrain, the new retail concept is part of its location-based entertainment strategy, creating immersive branded experiences that deepen consumer engagement while supporting the continued growth of both franchises in the Chinese market and beyond.
