WiT announces 2026 Wonder Women Award winners

Women in Toys, Licensing & Entertainment (WiT) has announced the winners of the 2026 Wonder Women Awards, celebrating women whose work is shaping the global toy, licensing, consumer products and entertainment industries. The winners were honoured at a gala held at Paramount Pictures in Los Angeles.

The winners

This year’s recipients include Buky Famosa of Mattel, recognised in the Catalyst for Change category, Mollie Jameson of Spin Master, who received the Designer/Inventor award, and Marie Navarro of Hasbro, honoured as Digital Innovator. Mallory Van Laeken of Moose Toys was named Marketing Visionary, while Humaira Shaikh of The LEGO Group received the Mentor of the Year award. Among the other 2026 honourees are professionals from companies including Bandai Namco, Amazon, Paramount, ZURU, Pokémon, Asmodee, and Just Play.

More recognitions and awards

The event also recognised Sherrie Westin, President and CEO of Sesame Workshop, with WiT’s Global Impact Award, and Steve Totzke, President and Executive Advisor at Mattel, with the Inclusive Leadership Award. Westin was recognised for using storytelling to deliver educational content and resources to children and families in more than 190 countries, while Totzke was honoured for his commitment to mentorship and inclusive leadership.

Supporting professionals across the toy, licensing and entertainment industries

The Wonder Women Awards are organised by WiT, a global nonprofit founded in 1991 that supports professionals across the toy, licensing and entertainment industries. Through networking, mentorship, scholarships and other programmes, the organisation aims to expand access, advance careers and foster collaboration. Proceeds from the Wonder Women Awards support WiT’s programming, mentorship initiatives and the WiT Foundation Scholarship Program.
