Xilam announces new senior leadership structure to support growth
Academy Award-nominated French animation studio Xilam has announced a new senior leadership structure and a series of promotions to support the company’s next phase of growth.
Caterina Gonnelli-Linden has been appointed Co-Chief Executive Officer, sharing executive leadership of the Group with Chairman and CEO Marc du Pontavice. Camille Wiplier and Safaa Benazzouz have been promoted to Deputy Chief Executive Officers. The appointments are effective immediately.
Gonnelli-Linden will take operational responsibility for the development and production of children’s programmes for television and digital platforms, overseeing content, operations, distribution and human resources.
Wiplier will expand her responsibilities to include IT and technical services, in addition to the operations she has led since January 2026. Benazzouz will oversee content distribution and marketing strategy, including international sales, marketing, digital and merchandising.
Du Pontavice will retain responsibility for the Group’s strategy and diversification, particularly in feature films and young adult series, as well as shareholder relations and oversight of finance and legal affairs.
Xilam said the new structure is designed to strengthen coordination across the company and support its continued growth.
