Yortoob expands into licensed character manufacturing

Chinese plush toy manufacturer Yortoob has officially entered the licensed character manufacturing supply chain for global entertainment intellectual properties, supported by its Disney FAMA certification and other international compliance standards.

Growing global demand

The company said the move reflects growing global demand for licensed entertainment merchandise, particularly plush toys and collectible character products linked to popular franchises. Yortoob noted that fan engagement, themed experiences, and character-driven consumer products continue to drive expansion in the global licensing market.

Compliance capabilities

Yortoob emphasized its compliance capabilities through certifications including Disney FAMA, ICTI, BSCI, and ISO 9001, as well as adherence to CE and ASTM standards. The company stated that these certifications support product safety, quality control, and supply chain transparency required for licensed manufacturing partnerships.

Expansion plans

As part of its expansion, Yortoob highlighted its OEM and ODM services, which include product design, fabric development, prototyping, and large-scale manufacturing for international entertainment and retail partners. The company operates a 12,000-square-meter production facility in Yangzhou, China, with a monthly production capacity of approximately 300,000 units.

Founded in 2015, Yortoob supplies plush toys, stuffed animals, home textiles, and craft products to global wholesalers and retailers in more than 50 countries. The company said its latest development positions it to participate more actively in the growing international entertainment licensing sector.
