Yoto and Warner Music Group enter into new partnership

Yoto, the audio platform for kids, and Warner Music Group (WMG) have entered into a collaboration set to begin this month.

The collaboration will see music from a number of WMG performers available on a portable audio player that includes a wealth of music and entertainment brands.

The initial project of the collaboration will include the release of Super Simple Songs' music on Yoto Cards.

Super Simple Songs is a popular YouTube channel that has more than 38 million subscribers and whose videos based on original children's songs and traditional nursery rhymes have been viewed over 44 billion times. Their music has been distributed by WMG's Arts Music Division since 2020. With Yoto, founders Ben Druey and Flip Denker have created a device that allows kids to access children's music without being exposed to ads or inappropriate content.

All without spending too much time in front of a screen and inspired by the principles of Montessori education.

In 2024, Yoto will create cards featuring music from WMG's carefully selected and curated group of pop, rock and soul artists, all suitable for its young users.

Ben Drury, co-founder and CEO of Yoto, says, "Music plays an important role in children's development, from language development to understanding the world around them.

We are excited to work with Warner Music Group to bring these legendary children's music brands to Yoto."

Kevin Gore, President, Global Catalogue, Warner Music Group, commented, "We are thrilled to partner with Yoto to bring their carefully selected music to their large and growing audience of young people.

Starting with our children's classics from Super Simple Songs to some highlights from our broader catalog, we will work together to open up new horizons for Yoto's young users."

The 3rd Generation Yoto Player will launch on June 15th, 2023  and is now available worldwide, particularly in the UK, France and North America.
