Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2025: Champions announced

Konami has announced the winners of the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship Series (WCS) 2025, whose exciting finals took place on Sunday, August 31, at the Maison de la Mutualité in Paris, France. At the tournament, which was held in Europe for the first time in many years, new world champions were crowned in four categories.

Thrilling finals

In the Yu-Gi-Oh! Trading Card Game tournament, French-American duelist Julien Kehon triumphed over Tom Kleinegräber from Germany to claim the title of Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG World Champion 2025.

In Yu-Gi-Oh! DUEL LINKS, both SPEED DUEL and RUSH DUEL offered thrilling duels. Philipp Thomas from Germany won the SPEED DUEL trophy, while Kenya Nagatani from Japan emerged victorious in the RUSH DUEL.

Meanwhile, in the Yu-Gi-Oh! MASTER DUEL final, Ragnarok defeated Team Chaiba Corp in a dramatic 3-on-3 match. Italy's Antonio ‘N3sh’ Papa, Sweden's Herman ‘Mist’ Hansson, and Croatia's Luka Forjan were crowned the Yu-Gi-Oh! MASTER DUEL World Champions 2025.

Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2026 to be held in Tokyo

During the WCS 2025 livestream, a teaser trailer revealed that the Yu-Gi-Oh! World Championship 2026 will be held in Tokyo, Japan. Duelists from around the world will meet again next year to compete for the ultimate title.
