YuMe Toys launches new One Piece Barrel capsule collectibles

YuMe Toys is expanding its partnership with Toei Animation through a new One Piece surprise capsule collection. Launching across EMEA and ANZ this spring, the range is part of a multi-year licensing agreement.

Enhancing the collector experience

The new Barrel Capsule format is inspired by the seafaring world of One Piece and features the first six Straw Hat Crew members — Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, and Chopper. Each figure includes a themed display base and acrylic nameplate, while modular plinths connect to form a larger scene as the collection grows.

Building on strong sales of its One Piece figural keychains, YuMe developed the Barrel Capsule line to enhance the collector experience. Designed as sculpted barrels, the blind-box capsules offer a layered unboxing journey: fans discover a clue card, a wanted-poster-style checklist, and a hidden figure. Water-reveal features and interactive display elements add to the appeal.

Continuing global success

With One Piece continuing its global success through its long-running anime, record-breaking manga sales, and expanding fan base, the new range is expected to drive repeat purchases and strengthen its position in the growing anime and kidult collectibles market.
