Zuru LLC recalls 7.5 Million Baby Shark bath toys

According to a press release, the recall affects 6.5 million full-size "Robo Alive Junior Baby Shark Sing & Swim" bath toys and

1 million mini-size "Robo Alive Junior Mini Baby Shark Swimming" bath toys.

The reason for the recall, according to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, is reports that children who fell or sat

on the toys suffered injuries, some of which required stitches or other medical care. According to the press release, there haven’t

been reported injuries caused by the mini-size toys, but they are also affected by the recall, as a safety measure.

The affected toys were sold at retailers such as Target, Walmart, Walgreens and Ross, according to the release.

Consumers who purchased the toys are advised to stop using them and contact Zuru for a full refund.

The sales period fell into the following time period: The recalled full-size toys were sold between May 2019 and March 2023, and the mini toys were sold from July 2020 to June 2023.
