ZURU unveils new China Headquarters in Shenzhen
ZURU has announced that its new China headquarters will open in the Spring Bamboo Tower in Nanshan, Shenzhen, in early 2027.
Located across eight floors of one of Shenzhen’s tallest skyscrapers, the headquarters will cover approximately 32,000 square metres, with individual floors exceeding 4,000 square metres. The space will accommodate around 3,000 team members, with room for further expansion.
The new headquarters will bring together teams from all three of ZURU’s businesses – ZURU Toys, ZURU Tech and ZURU Edge – including design, engineering, merchandising, finance, talent, project management, software and automation. The move is intended to enable closer collaboration between the teams responsible for designing, engineering and commercialising the company’s brands.
“We’ve spent 22 years building a rock star team in China, and they’re at the heart of everything we do,” said Nick Mowbray, co-founder and CEO of ZURU. He added that the new environment would support collaboration, creativity and the company’s anticipated growth in the coming years.
ZURU opened its first offices in China in the early 2000s, followed by its second and third offices in 2004 and 2005. The company is forecast to account for approximately 1% of Shenzhen’s GDP in 2027.
The headquarters forms part of ZURU’s broader investment programme. The company said it would continue investing in factories, offices and showrooms worldwide to support its global growth plans.
Teams are expected to begin moving into the Spring Bamboo Tower at the start of 2027.
