Crayola launches Crayola Studios
Crayola launches a new production division called Crayola Studios, dedicated to creating content for children and families that explores the
limitless possibilities of children's creativity and uses color as an essential element of storytelling.
First projects
Crayola Studios' first project is an animated adaptation of the popular children's podcast "The Alien Adventures of Finn Caspian", developed in collaboration with Mimo Studios.
Further projects are already in planning and development. The group will also produce child and family friendly content in cooperation with other production companies,
animation studios and IP right holders to reach a worldwide audience.
Developing inspiring entertainment content
Victoria Lozano, Executive vp of marketing, will oversee Crayola Studios’ content slate, supported by Goatfish Agency and Crayola sister company Hallmark Media.
“As world leaders in creative self-expression, the establishment of Crayola Studios is a logical next step for us, it builds on plans announced last year
to develop entertainment content that inspires and nurtures the next generation and helps them develop lifelong creative mindsets.
Our unique perspective offers an exciting opportunity for the industry as it searches for stand-out new and trusted content that has creativity at its heart.”, commented Victoria Lozano in a statement.
